Landscape Design & Wellness-Centered Environments
Refined outdoors spaces rooted in Intentional Living, Environmental Wellness, and Timeless Design.
Los Angeles, CA.
Founded by Zaida Yareli, ileray is a Los Angeles–based Landscape, Glazing & Spatial Design Studio grounded in Biophilic Principles, Feng Shui, and wellness-centered living.
With over 15 years of experience in construction and design, Zaida brings together hands-on industry expertise, environmental wellness studies, and a refined editorial perspective to create spaces that feel restorative, functional, and deeply connected to the way people live. Her background also includes licensed glazing work under California’s C17 classification, adding a technical understanding of architectural materials, light, transparency, and spatial integration to each project.
From thoughtfully designed landscapes to curated botanical environments and spatial consulting, every project is approached with an emphasis on beauty, longevity, flow, and intentionality.
Environment Shapes Biology
At ileray, design is approached as more than aesthetics alone. Research in environmental psychology and biophilic design continues to demonstrate the relationship between our surroundings and overall well-being. How they influence stress levels, focus, mood, creativity and daily behavior.
The philosophy informs every project through intentional layouts, natural elements, thoughtful plant selection, spatial flow, and environments designed to feel both elevated and deeply lived in.

Zaida Yareli
FOUNDER
Founded by Zaida Yareli, ileray exists at the intersection of landscape design, wellness, and the built environment. With over fifteen years of experience in the construction industry as both a Glazing Contractor & Landscape Designer, Zaida developed a deep understanding of what truly goes into bringing a project to life — not only the vision, but the complexity, coordination, and unseen details required behind the scenes. Her work is rooted in precision, material awareness, and an intentional attention to detail that borders on obsession in the best possible way.
But ileray was shaped by something far more personal.
After suffering a stroke at the age of twenty-nine, Zaida was forced into a long and unexpected pause — one that profoundly changed her relationship to health, healing, and the environments we inhabit. During recovery, she became deeply immersed in neuroscience, wellness, movement, nutrition, herbalism, and the physiological effects of nature on the human body.
What began as personal healing evolved into a philosophy.
Through years of study and practice as a Certified Wellness Coach, Nutritionist, Personal Trainer, and continuing student of Neuroscience and Herbalism, Zaida began connecting two worlds that are rarely approached together: the technical realities of construction and the biological intelligence of nature.
That intersection became ileray.
At its core, ileray is grounded in biophilia — the understanding that humans possess an innate biological connection to the natural world. Research in environmental psychology and neuroscience continues to demonstrate that exposure to nature can reduce cortisol levels, support nervous system regulation, improve cognitive function, enhance recovery, and contribute to overall mental and physical wellbeing.
ileray studio believes that environment shapes biology.
Every space we inhabit has the capacity to either support or disrupt the nervous system. Through intentional landscape design, restorative outdoor environments, wellness-focused studios, edible gardens, movement spaces, and sensory-centered design, ileray creates spaces that invite people back into connection — with nature, with themselves, and with the rhythms our bodies were designed to live alongside.
Edible gardens are approached not simply as aesthetic features, but as living systems that encourage nutrient diversity, seasonal eating, biodiversity, and a more conscious relationship with nourishment and health.
ileray is not a studio driven by trends or decoration alone. It was built on the belief that neuroaesthetics — the science of how environments influence perception, emotion, and physiological response — plays a vital role in how we heal, function, and live.
The work is intentional, grounded, and deeply selective.
Not every space needs to feel disconnected from the earth.
And not every design philosophy is meant for everyone.ileray exists for those seeking spaces that feel restorative, sensory, and alive — environments designed not only to be seen, but to be felt.
